Do I need to create an account?
No. Open Listo and start a list. Listo quietly creates a private, anonymous account so your lists are backed up and can be shared. You can link it to Apple, Google or email whenever you like.
Is Listo really free?
Yes. Everything that runs on your phone — lists, notes, Spaces, aisles, templates, repeating lists, reminders, budgets, planners, split costs, search and the archive — is free forever, with no ads.
Listo Pro is an optional subscription for the AI features: voice lists, the AI List Builder and suggestions, smarter note extraction, and turning recipe links or photos into lists. Free users can try each one once.
Does Listo work without internet?
Yes. Everything except the AI features works fully offline — perfect for the back of a store with one bar of signal.
What happens to my voice recordings?
Listo only records after you tap the microphone. When you stop, that one recording is sent to our AI service, transcribed, and turned into a draft list. The audio is held in memory for the length of the request and is never written to disk or kept.
You review the draft and nothing is saved until you tap Save. Read the details.
Does Listo work in Spanish? ¿Funciona en español?
Completely. The app, voice capture, AI list building and aisle grouping all work in Spanish and English. Listo follows your phone’s language, and you can switch in Settings.

Can I share lists with my family?
Yes. Invite someone with a link or QR code, approve them, and you’ll both see changes live — who added what, who checked it off, and who’s at the store. You can also share any list or note as text from the share button.
What’s the difference between a list and a planner?
Every list starts as a checklist — things to tick off. A planner is the same list with people and due dates on each item, for chores, trips or projects where different people do different things. Switch with ⋯ → “Use as planner”; nothing is lost when you switch back.
People on a planner are just names and don’t need the app. To let someone open and edit the list, invite them with “Share with people.”
Can Listo split costs between people?
Yes, for free. On any list, ⋯ → “Split costs” records who paid for what — split equally, by shares or by exact amounts — shows each person’s balance, and suggests who pays whom to settle up.
